Evishagaran Extension
ERG are currently working on submitting an application to extend Evishagaran Wind Farm with the submission of the planning application anticipated in Q4 2024.

PRE-APPLICATION COMMUNITY COUNSULTATION
PROPOSAL: On behalf of the ERG UK Holding Limited a proposal has been brought forward for a proposed extension to the operational Evishagaran Wind Farm (B/2013/0120/F) in Co. Derry/Londonderry comprising: up to 9no. three-bladed horizontal axis wind turbines, each up to a 150m maximum height above ground level; associated external electricity transformers; underground cabling; access tracks; turning heads; crane hardstandings and all ancillary works. The development also includes use of existing site entrance and access tracks.
LOCATION: Lands located 400m southwest of 175 Gelvin Road within the townlands of Evishagaran and Cruckanim, approximately 5.5km east of Dungiven, County Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland.
A Public Exhibition will take place on Wednesday 18th September 2024 between 11am-1.30pm & 4pm-6.30pm at Dungiven Sports Centre, 32 Curragh Rd, Dungiven, Londonderry BT47 4SE. This provides an opportunity for the public to view plans for this proposed development and discuss further with members of the project team.

Please note that this notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) or Causeway, Coast and Glens Borough Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to DfI, normal neighbourhood notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
